Material Planner

·
Previous experience with MRP/ERP applications.

·
, X* h# S6 Z" M/ kProactively plan and procure both direct and indirect materials in support of daily production

·
  V& f3 r0 m7 V9 Y$ T! z3 X2 MProactively identify, resolve and communicate potential supply concerns with supplier(s) and Company personnel as required.

·
Identify, implement and maintain effective / cost efficient transportation lanes for supplier base.

·
# J0 t$ J4 p/ D7 ~Purchase Order generation and maintenance.

·
Routinely conduct market surveys through the Request for Quote (RFQ) process.

·
Assist with identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

·
Assist with inventory reconciliation efforts as required.

·
% h# ~2 h+ n' `Demonstrate a solid understanding of TS/ISO processes.

·
3 n. \* o* @+ u, }+ f! k2 H; ^Demonstrate a solid understanding of MS applications in particular Excel, Outlook and Word.

·
" o1 }6 [3 Q3 sA minimum of four (4) years direct Material Planner / Scheduler experience and/or
3 ~" T/ c, B6 g# e' h4 ?% f6 krelated post-secondary education

·
Preference will be given to candidates who possess Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or equivalent post-secondary education

·
Fluent Mardarin & English writing and speaking
