Accountabilities:
" S' U( ]* l$ F; E! e/ z i% z+ J: }' D4 J
• Operate within the framework of enterprise architecture and technology standards.
5 Q F! `6 U3 K1 Q* h( s, V U1 }• Work with project teams to build and install infrastructure/application servers.
) `( t1 X, \; s- v3 V• Ensure systems are engineered to meet business service level expectations, as well as corporate I.S. standards" V! K$ Q: B' J( r! D' R8 y
• Installation of servers Z& {4 w4 ^: T7 m
• Day to day server administration, operation and maintenance (direction provided by Team Lead, Server Support)
$ ]8 c. z b& p& _$ s- p4 b• Provide ‘level 2’ service desk support for the server environment including evening and weekend pager support on a rotational basis.
4 f/ @# {% m- Y! c& \• Provide input and act as a resource for related technical infrastructure projects
0 [+ N( M& k1 \! Z B• Conduct problem management for technical problems and issues

Qualifications and Competencies:
0 J/ ], i. t1 ^; q3 e" V. {0 f: ] $ n. i! W) r* L: o9 Q, n
• Minimum 5 years experience within IT environment% U) L' G2 G; S @5 P
• Broad familiarity of Unix, Windows based server operating systems, Active Directory, networking, database, system management, etc.
" r$ p4 G( Z3 A$ H; Q7 R4 g0 I• Experience with enterprise backup and recovery products
. P" L' V2 v+ t2 u6 {5 S: `0 x/ X" B7 v• Experience with desktop environments % A o X F# _2 l8 b% Q2 s( U' z
• Familiarity with system management tools# P) I- v. x {- B/ M0 X: }
• Familiarity of security management principles! y4 o3 X, x1 M# |) _. P7 D3 E
• Basic networking skills7 r" N1 }2 m5 H) @
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
